I found a great online homeschooling preschool program called ABG Jesus Loves Me for free! I thought this would be a great way to see if homeschooling will work for us. They recommend starting in August to have their lessons match up with the seasons and holidays so that is what we did.

Our school day starts with prayer, then a days of the week song and we put up what today is, yesterday was, and what tomorrow will be, then we look outside to see the weather and put up the matching picture. Followed by repeating our scripture verse, then our lesson on the bible, and usually coloring.

He is loving school, he gets so excited and loves to learn. He has memorized Genesis 1:1, and the days of the week already!
