4th of July

Evan and I bought matching shirts, aren't we cute?!

I can't believe I forgot to post about out 4th.  Laura had the whole family over at her house for food and games.  Sadly since it was about a month ago my memory is a bit vague.  What a good example and lesson to show the reason for journaling/blogging.

We had hot dogs, egg rolls, chips, jello, cupcakes, fruit and veggies.  It was delicious!!  Laura's family, and Evan and I filled up bunches of water balloons.  We played a few rounds of balloon toss then we tried partners balloon toss with towels.  That didn't go so well.  But all of it was fun.

Some of the family stuck around after most people had left and we played Rate your Mate (like the Newly Wed Game)  I always enjoy that game, or playing any game in general with Laura and Loren.

I have been wanting to make a flag cake for the longest time.  I finally did, well sort of, it was jello, but who cares. =)
